Grand Prize Winner of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture Jingle Video Contest to Be Chosen By Popular Vote

Winner Will Drive Away in a Brand-New 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid
Norton, MA, November 7, 2008 – Hundreds of individuals have submitted videos for the Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture Jingle Video Contest, and now it’s up to the general public to choose the Grand Prize winner, who will drive away in a brand-new 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. The 30-second videos feature everyday people singing the retailer’s trademark jingle: “Bernie and Phyl’s, quality, comfort and price, that’s nice!”
A panel of judges has selected 10 finalists, based primarily on their originality and creativity, from all of the submissions received. The public will have the opportunity to vote online at www.bernieandphyls.com – from November 10, 2008 to November 23, 2008 – for their favorite video. The Grand Prize winner, based on the video that receives the most votes, will be announced on November 28, 2008 at a special public event at Bernie & Phyl’s Saugus store. There is a limit of one vote per e-mail address.
“We’ve had a lot of fun watching videos of people from all around New England singing our famous jingle,” said Larry Rubin, president of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture. “Our expert panel of judges has selected 10 great video finalists and we look forward to finding out which one the public loves best. We can’t wait to hand the car keys over to the winner!”
